Pre Reading Blog for the last time!

It has been quite an experience I will have to say, as I have now completed almost two semesters of writing with Jason it has been a good experience. I would hope that others would agree in my writing skills and how they have been honed into constructive uses rather than just arguments. Jacoby has certainly done a little of that for me this semester, for the most part she has left me infuriated and outraged from the beginning. However, to my surprise as I have tied very hard to listen carefully and in fact I feel that I have learned a lot from reading Jacoby's book. I was always told that until you understand the opponents standpoint you cannot argue your standpoint effectively. Having said that I still don't agree with Jacoby on most things but I do know what I believe in a whole lot more from learning to understand the lefts viewpoint of this society and country that seems to be rolling like a snowball headed for hell.
