Pre Writing for Paper 3
I have been quite interested in Proposition 2 during this election year. It really concerns me about the lack of consideration for the nation’s agriculture industry coming from this Proposition. It is disgusting that a few animal rights activists’ whacks are trying to manipulate the entire society into making a detrimental mistake of a decision for the agriculture industry. The food safety issue has many Americans up in arms; this initiative has the potential to be devastating to the egg industry. This initiative can cause food safety to be left to a few animal rights activists that could care less about our foods safety.

I hadn't heard of Proposition 2. That does tie into what we are reading and your blog has given me the incentive to go check out this prop and see what it is all about.Something definitely needs to be done about the safety of our food.
wow, I just checked this prop out here...http://ballotpedia.org/wiki/index.php/California_Proposition_2_(2008). Very disturbing, it doesn't seem like this has anything to do with food safety, just animal comfort. Sometimes its amazing the different laws we have, people manage to live just fine in countries where meat hangs in open air markets after its been butchered, yet in America, before too long, the cages that hold the chickens will be required to have airbags and seat belts. (hopefully an exaggeration of course)
